Natural History

Sea Urchins are sea creatures that live on the bottom of the ocean whose shell is covered in dozens of spiked barbs, similar to porcupine quills. Although they don’t appear to move, you can see how our sped up underwater time-lapse proves otherwise. Urchins eat algae in the water column and are in turn eaten by fish and notably, swallowed whole by Arctic Eider Ducks.
