Manage Map Layers

Learn how to access and select different Map Layers, including Satellite imagery and the SIKU Ice Map.

1. Tap Map.
2. Tap Map Layers.
3. Select the Map Layer of interest.
   • tap to learn more about each Map Layer.
   • Turn on Ignore Cloud Imagery to automatically find the imagery closest to the selected date with no clouds.
   • Check calendar to see the date of the displayed imagery (some satellite imagery is only updated every 2-5 days).
   • Tap calendar to load imagery from the past.
   • Base Map and Mosaic can be downloaded for use offline.
4. Tap to close the Map Layers information panel.
