Learn how to create an account on the SIKU app. After you have downloaded the free SIKU app, you need to Create an Account before you can see the SIKU Feed and share your observations on the land.
To provide a safe space for sharing Indigenous Knowledge, you must use your real name.
Android
- Open the SIKU app.
- Tap Create Account.
- Add your Email and choose a Password or sign in using your Facebook, Google or Apple account.
- Read the Terms of Use and tap Accept.
- Add your First Name, Last Name, a
Profile Photo of yourself and your
Community (Required). - Enter your Organization, if it has a SIKU profile (Optional).
- Add your Background and experience (Optional).
- Tap Get Started to begin using SIKU.
Setting your community connects to the My Community feed. The posts you create as well as other members’ posts will show up in this feed and this supports sharing land observations and information (e.g., safety, harvests) specific to your community. Current weather information is also available in My Community feed.
iOS
- Open the SIKU app.
- Tap Create Account.
