Groundwater spring
Groundwater springs are natural outlets where groundwater flows onto the Earth's surface, occurring when an aquifer fills to the point of overflowing or intersects the land surface. They act as water sources and habitats, but can also pose travel hazards in the winter as water continues to flow out of the ground year-round.
